A Violet Chorus

A royal song rings loud and clear
To the unseen heroes among the faithful
The violet anthem of freedom sung out
Reaching out to the humble the tender hearts
With the chorus, I do hope I can sing along
With genuine faith, joy, and courage
To sing with Yaweh's children
With the redeemed and blood-bound by the Christ
To sing with the golden sunrise, to dance with the trees
To play the strings of the wind; to reach out for the starlight
To truly look ahead for the promised rainbow and believe
Even when I'm struggling with the scriptmist
For faith can't be faith if not wrestled with
And freedom cannot be freedom if locked with the bloodink
So, freedom sings to the prisoners, a chorus that paints the wind
Shattering the night with unity and love and drawing us close to Him
