Indigo Deception

Hiding, running, I'm deceiving myself
In hopes that You will never find me
But, if the darkest of indigo nights
Are as bright as a golden dawn to You
There just isn't anywhere to go
I could hide in Mother Earth's bosom,
Could shroud my face with Father Time's chores
Busy myself and escape in nature's song
But, the rose of the curse is withering
When I flee away from You, but now
I come into our secret place of a dream
Allow You to have Your way in me
Because, my indigo deception cannot hide
From the love and truth You made known to me
Because, You know every aspect of my being
Hallelujah! All Your works are marvelous to me
And for that I will lift Your Name in worship
Amen.
