Indigo Stains

Black lights distracts my heart
A daily lie springs from my left or right
With both eyes open, and focused
I direct my path to the Son

Step by step in this time
Longing for the time that I shall fly up
When I am raised up from these depths
I'll be free from the World's deceit

Black lights; indigo stains
Only reveal how desolate we are
The dirt and muck that is our sin
Will be stripped from my skin as scars

When I am healed and set free
I shall watch my cuts peel from my arms like
Threads unraveling from a scarf
And I'll don a new body

In lights of gold and pure white
I'll dance upon seeing the face of Yahweh
We'll run into a warm embrace

I'll no longer be bound by indigo stains
