Dusk and Dawn

It is now the time to look to the east
Dusk has fallen and we wait for dawn
We look for the Light to feast
Our eyes upon the Chosen One
Orange and red stained the clouds before
But now we are in pitch black sorrow
As I wait, my eyes sting and grow sore
But I know healing shall come tomorrow
Paint the land in Your golden gleam
Sunrise new; last night the Bridegroom came
Now I'm encompassed by colours I've never seen
My grief; a memory as He calls my name
I'm finally drawing near to the throne
Finally see His loving smile
Finally am embraced and am Home
He was there all the while
